The Secret of Cupping

Before we receive fresh coffee at our coffee-roasting plant near the Kokořín castle, we carefully select its suitable origins. Cupping is a process of coffee tasting during which we assess the aroma and taste of the coffee with our senses. We always strive to choose the best one for you.

The coffee tasting process may be called a ritual and the first one starts on the plantations. The quality and the overall coffee taste are tested and potential faults are looked for. At our plant, the main person in this important procedure is our lead roaster, Sabri. He spends his time working with the coffee taste, the level of its acidity and also of its specific aftertaste..
